Tyler Sister Cities partnered with Sister Cities International and the University of Texas at Tyler to establish the Eisenhower International Golf Classic in 1987, a fundraising event which provided scholarships for international students pursuing higher education in U.S. Sister Cities.
The UT Tyler Library’s Department of Archives and Special Collections researched this 13-year-partnership.
