Tyler’s sister city relationship with Jelenia Góra began with a twinning ceremony in 1993.
Soon after the Fall of communism in Poland, a group of elected leaders from Jelenia Góra traveled to Tyler to learn about running a municipal government.
The UT Tyler Library’s Department of Archives and Special Collections researched this relationship.
