Tyler Sister Cities Executive Committee, Board of Directors elected to new term

At its annual membership meeting on Thursday, May 23, 2024, the Tyler Sister Cities organization elected new leadership to a two-year term.

Michael Howell will serve as president through May of 2026. The organization’s executive committee also includes Vice President Russ Jackson, Secretary Nancy Rangel, Treasurer James Murphy, Mayor of Tyler Don Warren, and Immediate Past President Jennifer Rader.

The following individuals were also confirmed as members of the board of directors: Henry Bell (Tyler Chamber of Commerce); Tom Mullins (UT Health East Texas); Diann Bayes (Visit Tyler); Cynthia Martinez (UT Tyler); Jeremy Strickland (Tyler Junior College); Don Warren (City of Tyler); Michael Howell (Tyler Area MPO); Russ Jackson (Tyler Transit); Nancy Rangel (Tyler Hispanic Business Alliance); Jeranda Dennis (Past ALT teacher); Jennifer Rader (Immediate Past President); Norma Neiderhofer (Lone Star Handicap Vans); Lane Luckie (KLTV); James Murphy (Republic Services).

The organization’s annual report and strategic outlook were also presented at the meeting, held at the Ornelas Center for Band, Apache Belles & Dance on the Tyler Junior College Campus.
