Tyler Sister Cities has announced its annual membership drive. Board president Michael Howell released the following letter inviting support from the community.
March 1, 2025 begins the new membership year for Tyler Sister Cities, and we have big plans for the coming year! We will be hosting a delegation from Jelenia Gora, Poland in October and a delegation from Yachiyo, Japan in March of 2026. Planning efforts are underway to create a full itinerary for our guests, and we need help to bring it all together.
If you are interested in international exchanges and want to get experience in citizen diplomacy, then we are the group you are looking for! We need people to serve as liaisons to our sister cities in Japan, Poland, Mexico and Costa Rica. We need volunteers to promote the organization’s activities to the people of Tyler. And we need boots on the ground to serve as guides for our delegations while they are in town.
