Members of Tyler Sister Cities participated in a great tradition at Tyler Junior College — the annual International and Passport Day on April 22, 2025.
TJC’s Rogers Student Center hosted cultural exhibitions, international music, entertainment, a food fair, and arts and crafts from countries all around the world.
“These exhibits will represent a portion of our international student body and employees to celebrate the history and cultures of their native countries,” a TJC news release stated.
The U.S. Passport Office also has a table set up each year to help students enroll.
Members of the Tyler Sister Cities organization hosted a display about the city’s sister city relationships and ways TJC students can become involved in citizen diplomacy.
Tyler Sister Cities offers a discounted student membership for $20 annually. To learn more, click here.
