Learn more about San Miguel:
How It Started
Tyler has been a sister city with San Miguel de Allende since 2010, however, last year we made a big push to really begin collaborating with San Miguel and develop our relationship.
In November, 2019, a group from Tyler visited San Miguel and enjoyed a productive trip. Delegates from Tyler Junior College, University of Texas-Tyler, Tyler Economic Development Council, Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Professionals Association of Tyler, and the Tyler Sister Cities Board were represented.
Our group met with San Miguel Sister Cities, the Mayor, Department of Economic Development, Youth Institute, Department of Culture and Traditions, Municipal Sports Commission, among others.
